Passover Celebration With Residents of Lytton Gardens Senior Communities

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Do GOOD. Feel GREAT!

In the Mishmash tradition of building a vibrant Jewish community, we invite you to share your time and talent in making this Passover festive and fun for the Russian (and English) speaking Jewish babushkas and dedushkas of the Senior Center Lytton Gardens in Palo Alto.

As part of this volunteering event we’ll be heading a fun sing-along of popular Yiddish songs and we need your help. Joining our efforts will be Karen Berger, Chorus director of Yiddish Choristers.

But regardless of your musical inclinations, come out to sing or cheer on the singers. (No vocal credentials required and participation is optional but do let us know if you’d like to be musically involved*).

We’ll also be helping bring holiday gifts courtesy of Jewish Family and Children’s Services.

This Passover let’s remember our past by making the present a little brighter for those who need it most!

Sunday, March 28th, 1:00 to 2:30 pm
Senior Center
Lytton Gardens, Palo Alto

Please RSVP to info@mishmashgroup.org so we could coordinate our efforts.

*If you wish to bring an instrument or help lead singing, let us know– we’d love to work with you.
